I ordered some cabs from Freda awhile ago, to be loaded with Thames and 1230-55's. Last week I got them, and after some time breaking them in, I must say I'm floored. Thank you! These speakers sound amazing. I finally have the balanced, full-range sound I've been seeking for years. Big lows (that are still tight enough), ample mids, and extended treble with no ice pick. And the harmonics sound like they're gonna jump out and bite me! I guess it's a slightly unconventional pairing, but it suits me. -- Todd Naumann
